What is combined breast augmentation?

Combined breast augmentation is a simple procedure combining the ability of an implant to provide increased volume with the reshaping possibilities offered by fat grafting. The ability to camouflage the implant allows use of a premuscular, retrofascial pocket, avoiding the disadvantages and morbidity associated with retromuscular positioning.

If you happen to have extremely small breasts or thin subcutaneous fat, a general breast augmentation using breast implants is not enough. If you get breast implants using breast augmentation only, the breast implants may be visible or the skin may become wrinkled after an operation.

Not only does a combined breast augmentation make soft tissues thicker by grafting autologous fat, but it also makes your breasts more voluptuous and natural by inserting breast implants.

Breast augmentation can now be performed by taking unwanted fat from one area of your body and transferring it to your breasts, typically the tummy, thighs, or flanks (love handles) — and inject it into your breasts.

In addition, combination breast surgery performed with precise fat transfer can correct asymmetrical breasts more precisely.
